The AIA/CES
Program
AIA members are required to complete 18 learning units
every year with a minimum of 8 units in the category of Health, Safety
and Welfare in which all Won-Door™ seminars are registered.
About the Seminar
Few life safety components are as essential to building
design as means of egress. The Won-Door™ seminar, entitled Sliding
Doors in a Means of Egress: An Analysis of Recent Changes to the Model
Codes, examines significant changes to all the model codes which
now permit certain complying "sliding doors" to be used in
a means of egress.
These seminars include:
a comprehensive review of the code changes
a demonstration video
a case study slide application for review
Learning Unit Options
This program meets the AIA/CES criteria. The seminar
